New Item Workshop — Exclusive to the Legacy Realm!

Hello, Rise of Tarkan players!

We have some exciting news coming to the Legacy Realm!

After listening to numerous suggestions and carefully reviewing feedback from our community, we've decided to introduce a brand-new system that will make equipment customization and progression much easier: the Item Workshop!

We understand that many players found the previous systems involving Excellent Jewels, Change Excellent, and other equipment modification features confusing or unnecessarily complicated.

That's why we've developed a new workshop that brings several features together in one place, allowing you to customize your equipment much more conveniently.

1. What Is the Item Workshop?

The Item Workshop is a new system that allows players to directly modify the attributes of their Excellent equipment.

With this feature, you'll have much more freedom to customize your items according to your character's needs and preferred playstyle.

What can you do in the workshop?

  • Add Excellent Options: Add new Excellent Options to your equipment.

  • Change Excellent Options: Replace existing options with others of your choice.

  • Remove Excellent Options: Remove unwanted Excellent Options from your items.

  • Add Luck: Add the Luck option to your equipment.

  • Add Skill: Add the Skill option to compatible items.

Important: Each item can have a maximum of 4 Excellent Options.

2. How to Access and Use the Item Workshop

Using the new system is very simple! Follow the steps below to customize your equipment.

Step 1 — Open Your Inventory

First, open your character's inventory.

You'll find a new icon that provides access to the Item Workshop.

Simply click this icon to open the system.

Step 2 — Select Your Equipment

After clicking the workshop icon, a new window will appear.

In this window, select the Excellent item you want to customize.

Remember that only Excellent equipment is eligible for modification.

Step 3 — Choose Your Modifications

Now comes the most interesting part!

Once you've selected your equipment, you can choose which attributes you want to modify.

You can add new Excellent Options, replace existing ones, remove unwanted options, or add Luck and Skill when supported by the item.

This allows you to customize your equipment according to your build and gameplay strategy.

Step 4 — Add or Change Excellent Options

Want to improve your equipment with different Excellent Options?

Simply select the options you want to add or change.

You can customize your item according to your preferences, as long as you respect the maximum limit of 4 Excellent Options per item.

Step 5 — Add Luck or Skill

The workshop also allows you to add Luck or Skill to compatible equipment.

Simply select the desired modification and check whether your item supports it.

This makes equipment customization much more convenient without requiring multiple separate systems.

Step 6 — Review the Cost and Confirm

Before completing your modification, you'll be able to review the cost of the selected operation.

The workshop supports two currencies:

  • Cash

  • Ruud

The price depends on the selected modification and the currency you choose.

Once you've reviewed your selection and its cost, you can confirm the operation.

Step 7 — Check Your Modified Equipment

After completing the modification, check your equipment to see the updated options.

Your item will now reflect the changes you've selected!

3. Important Rules and Limitations

Before using the Item Workshop, please keep the following rules in mind:

  • Excellent Items Only: The workshop can only modify Excellent equipment.

  • Maximum of 4 Excellent Options: Each item can have up to four Excellent Options.

  • Luck and Skill Compatibility: These attributes can only be added to compatible equipment.

  • Variable Modification Costs: Prices depend on the operation and selected currency.

  • Legacy Realm Exclusive: This feature is currently exclusive to the Legacy Realm.

These limitations are part of our balancing strategy, helping preserve the importance of equipment progression and character build decisions.

4. Which Currencies Can Be Used?

The Item Workshop supports two currencies for equipment modifications:

Cash and Ruud.

Prices are not fixed across all modifications.

For example, adding an Excellent Option may cost a different amount than removing an option, adding Luck, or adding Skill.

Additionally, the Cash and Ruud prices for the same modification may differ.

Our goal is to provide alternative ways for players to customize their equipment using the resources available to them.

5. Why Are We Making This Change?

Since the beginning, our goal for the Legacy Realm has been to provide a balanced and enjoyable progression experience that rewards players for their efforts.

Over time, we've received numerous suggestions regarding the Excellent Jewel and Change Excellent systems.

Many players felt that these mechanics were overly complicated and didn't always provide a clear way to obtain the equipment modifications they wanted.

And we agree with you!

We believe that customizing equipment should be an enjoyable experience, not an unnecessarily complicated process.

With the new Item Workshop, we want to make equipment customization more transparent, organized, and easier to understand.

This doesn't mean obtaining powerful equipment will become less important.

Excellent items will remain valuable and essential to character progression, but you'll now have better tools to improve and customize the equipment you've earned.

6. An Exclusive Feature for the Legacy Realm!

It's important to emphasize that the Item Workshop is being introduced exclusively to the Legacy Realm.

This change is part of the improvements we're developing specifically for the progression and gameplay systems of this realm.

We'll continue monitoring how players use the workshop, how the available currencies are spent, and how these modifications affect the overall balance of the game.

As always, community feedback will play an important role in helping us make further adjustments and improvements.
